Gold breaks under $4000 per ounce to test eight month low

COMEX Gold futures have broken under $4000 per ounce to approach around eight-month lows today. The yellow metal is currently trading down 0.50% at $3974 per ounce. The metal is down around 3.50% this week. The US dollar is up marginally around 100.70 mark as the unrest on US-Iran front is supporting the greenback. MCX Gold has slipped under Rs 140k mark and currently trades down 0.25% at Rs 139995 per 10 grams.
