MCX Evening Update: Precious metals turn lower, Silver nears Rs 220k per kg mark

MCX Gold futures turned lower today as weak negative cues weighed on the sentiments. Benchmark MCX Gold futures opened lower and drifted towards 141000 per 10 grams mark on a repeated basis in the afternoon before some upside emerged. The counter currently trades at Rs 141669 per 10 grams, down 0.41% on the day. MCX Silver futures are also down 0.76% at Rs 221494 per kg.
