Economic Buzz: China unemployment rate at 5.0% in June

China's urban unemployment rate stood at 5.0% in June, the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said in its report on Wednesday.

The figure was 0.1 percentage point lower than in May and slightly below market expectations.

In 31 major cities, the unemployment rate matched the national level at 5.0 percent.
