Economic Buzz: China's economy grows by 0.9% in Q2

China's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 0.9% in the second quarter compared with the previous quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Wednesday.

On a yearly basis, the economy expanded by 1.1%.

For the first half of the year, China?s GDP reached 69.57 trillion yuan ($10. trillion), rising 4.7% from a year earlier at constant prices.
