Energy Preview: US Natural Gas inventories rise by 73 BCF

The EIA has released yesterday it's iUS natural gas inventory report, showing a net increase of 73 Bcf as of June 12, 2026. Working gas in storage was 2,759 Bcf as of Friday, June 12, 2026. This represents a net increase of 73 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 29 Bcf less than last year at this time and 151 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,608 Bcf.At 2,759 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
