MCX Copper sees modest gains

COMEX Copper futures consolidated around two-week high above $6.50 per pound as equities stayed largely steady amid US-Iran peace deal hopes. In Asia, China's main CSI300 index rose 0.40%. Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng index fell 0.74%. Japan?s Nikkei 225 index moved up 0.72%. European stocks saw mixed outing today. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose to a record high on Tuesday amid declining oil prices. Copper is finding this comforting and currently quotes at $6.52 per pound, up 0.15% on the day. MCX Copper futures are trading at Rs 1340.60 per kg, up 0.22% on the day after testing a high around Rs 1340 per kg.
