Economic Buzz: China's unemployment rate at 5.1% in May

China's urban unemployment rate stood at 5.1% in May, the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said in its report on Tuesday.

The figure was 0.1 percentage point lower than in April and slightly below market expectations.

In 31 major cities, the rate was 5.1%, also down by 0.1 percentage point from the previous month.
