MCX Evening Update: Gold and Silver sees good gains but strength in INR caps upside

MCX Gold futures are witnessing steady gains today in tune with the firm global cues though sharp recovery in Indian Rupee is keeping upside limited. MCX Gold is up 0.76% at Rs 150067 per 10 grams while MCX Silver has added 0.96% at Rs 241952 per kg. Meanwhile, COMEX Gold and Silver are up 2.50% and 4.10%, respectively. INR surged 67 paise to close at 95.18 (provisional) against the greenback on Friday as global oil prices fell sharply.
