Economic Buzz: UK industrial production growth remain flat in April

Production output in the United Kingdom was unchanged in April compared to the previous month, the Office for National Statistics revealed in its report on Friday.

According to the report, electricity and gas kept production subdued, falling 3.2%, as water and sewerage output dipped by 0.5%. On the other hand, manufacturing output rose by 0.4% as the mining and quarrying sector improved by 2.5%.

In the three months to April, production output decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous three-month period.
