MCX Evening Update: Gold melts more than 2%, Silver under stress too

Heavy correction is continuing in precious metals. MCX Gold futures are down 2.15% at Rs 149160 per 10 grams as a brief uptick to highs around Rs 150800 per 10 grams mark capped upside in morning trades. The open interest is up 2.75% today. MCX Silver futures are also down 1.26% at Rs 235532 per kg.
