Copper tests three-week low as equities turn lower globally

Copper futures slipped today, testing near three-week low amid weak equities. COMEX Copper futures are down 1.35% at $6.24 per pound. In Asia, China's main CSI300 index eased 0.42%. Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng index shed 0.76%. Japan?s Nikkei average gave up 1.91%, giving up gains of similar magnitude in last session. European stocks slipped across the board. German DAX lost more than 1%. The US stocks stayed under pressure on war worries. NASDAQ slipped 0.97% and led losses yet again. Copper has been falling this month after rising nearly 7% in May.
