03-Jun-2026 | 14:53
Eurozone producer prices rose 0.6% month-on-month in April 2026, slowing from March's sharp 3.4% increase as energy price pressures eased. Energy prices fell 0.4% during the month, while prices excluding energy accelerated 0.9%, driven by stronger gains in intermediate and durable goods. On an annual basis, producer prices increased 4.9%, marking the strongest rise since March 2023. Among major economies, producer price growth moderated in Germany, Italy, and Spain, while France recorded a monthly decline.
