Commodities Buzz: EIA Natural Gas inventories gain 92 BCF

Energy Information Administration or EIA stated that the US natural gas inventories rose 92 Bcf in the week ending May 22. Against the five-year average, total gas inventories moved to a surplus of 144 Bcf compared to a surplus of 149 Bcf last week. The five-year average rose 97 Bcf in the survey week. The inventories are 21 Bcf above year ago levels, compared to 33 Bcf above them last week.
