Copper off two-week low
20-May-2026 | 17:51
COMEX Copper futures moved up today after testing near two-week low. The counter currently trades up 0.91% at $6.25 per pound. Overall mood is cautious for the metal though as equities remain fixated on US-Iran war. A firm US dollar will also likely cap gains for the counter. Asian stocks turned lower. China's main CSI300 Index shed 0.18% to close at 4162 as a drop from one-week high in last session stayed in place. Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng dropped 0.57% at 25651 ? testing around three-week low. Japan?s Nikkei average lost 1.20%. However, European stocks rose modestly today.
