MCX Evening Update: Local Gold in green as INR tanks to record low

MCX Gold futures stayed supported today despite lax cues from global markets as the Indian Rupee tanked to another record low against the US dollar. COMEX Gold is down 0.27% at $4544 per ounce. MCX Gold is up though, adding 0.36% at Rs 159971 per 10 grams as INR tanked to another record low of 96.63 against the US dollar today. MCX Silver is down 0.54% at Rs 275151 per kg.
