MCX Afternoon Update: Base metals rise, Copper tests Rs 1400 per kg

Base metals edged up today, adding to recent spate of gains. MCX Copper futures for May are trading at Rs 1400 per kg, up 0.72% on the day. The hit a high of Rs 1414 per kg in intraday moves. MCX Aluminum futures spiked 1.80% to trade at Rs 384.80 per kg. MCX Zinc futures added 0.41% to trade at Rs 363.85 per kg. MCX Lead futures are trading at Rs 204.60 per kg, up 0.61% on the day. MCX Nickel futures edged up 0.21% to trade at Rs 1826.20 per kg.
