MCX Morning Wrap: Copper spikes above Rs 1370 per kg, other metals soften

Base metals are mixed today after recent spate of gains. MCX Copper futures for May are trading at Rs 1371.75 per kg, up 0.18% on the day. The counter soared more than 3% yesterday with a mild drop in open interest. MCX Aluminum futures are down 0.43% at Rs 374.15 per kg. MCX Zinc futures slipped 0.37% to trade at Rs 354.55 per kg. MCX Lead futures are trading at Rs 202.55 per kg, down 0.22% on the day. MCX Nickel futures lost 1.32% to trade at Rs 1808.60 per kg.
