MCX Evening Update: Gold in positive zone as INR tumbles, Silver spikes 3%

MCX Gold futures cut losses and moved into positive territory in evening trades amid a deep slide in Indian Rupee which tested fresh record low above 95.30 per US dollar. MCX Gold is currently trading at Rs 152894 per 10 grams, up 0.24% on the day. COMEX Gold is down half a percent at $4693 per ounce. MCX Silver soared amid firm global cues and is up 3.24% at Rs 270414 per kg.
