Copper hits three-month high, equities surge around globe

COMEX Copper futures soared today as US President Donald Trump noted great progress in talks with Iran. Equities spiked and Copper moved sharply higher after breaking above $6 per pound. The red metal currently trades up 3.46% at $6.20 per pound. It is currently at a three-month high. Asian shares were well supported today. China's Shanghai Composite index rose 1.17% while Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index gained 1.22%. European stocks jumped with indices in Germany and UK soaring more than 2%. The US stocks edged up in last session as S&P 500 toward all-time high. All major indices added good gains. MCX Copper futures broke impressively above Rs 1300 per kg mark and currently trade at Rs 1308.35 per kg, up 1.62% on the day.
