MCX Afternoon Update: Bullion futures soar, record a drop in open interest

MCX Bullion futures are in a commanding position today, holding onto their early gains amid extremely bullish cues. MCX Gold is trading at Rs 152502 per 10 grams, up 1.84% on the day, largely confined to a range with lows around Rs 151800 capping downside. The open interest in the counter has slipped around 6%. MCX Silver futures are up 3.55% at Rs 252980 per kg with 8.70% drop in open interest.
