MCX Evening Update: MCX Crude tanks more than 2%, gives up Rs 10K mark

Crude oil futures corrected heavily today with the WTI futures sliding from near four-year highs. The commodity tanked 2.60% to trade at $104.07 per barrel, witnessing an accelerated drop in highly volatile trades. MCX Crude oil plunged in afternoon trades following this and broke under Rs 10000 per barrel mark. It currently trades at Rs 9906 per barrel, down 2.17% on the day. MCX Natural Gas is also down 1.19% at Rs 249.20 per mmbtu.
