Commodities Buzz: Slight rise in Silver net speculative longs

Precious metals speculators slightly increased their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 23720 contracts in the data reported through April 21, 2026. This was a weekly rise of 158 net contracts as net longs stayed near two-year low.
