Economic Buzz: UK producer prices up 0.9% in March

Prices of goods coming out of factories in the United Kingdom rose by 0.9% in March on a monthly basis, the country's Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed in its report published on Wednesday. Year-over-year, the output producer prices increased by 2.6%.

Meanwhile, the annual input producer inflation rate rose by 5.4% in the twelve months ending March. Month-over-month, the input producer prices were up 4.4%.
