Energy Preview: US crude oil inventories fall by 4.40 million barrels, API data shows

WTI crude oil prices are lingering just below $90 per barrel mark on Wednesday morning in Asia. Data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) estimated that crude oil inventories in the United States fell by 4.4 million barrels in the week ending April 17. In the week prior, US crude oil inventories rose by 6.10 million barrels. Gasoline inventories fell this week by 5.165 million barrels in the week ending April 17. In the week prior, gasoline inventories rose by 626,000 barrels.
