Silver stays slippery near $79 per ounce

COMEX Silver futures slipped sharply today, falling near $79 per ounce as inability of the counter to hold above $80 per ounce weighed on the metal. The US dollar index is steady around 98 mark as US-Iran deal talks are still uncertain. COMEX Silver futures are currently trading at $79.03 per ounce, down 1.26% on the day. MCX Silver futures are trading at Rs 251447 per kg, down 0.43% on the day after falling near Rs 250200 per kg mark, The counter lost around 1.79% in last session with a sharp drop in volumes.
