Commodities Buzz: Marginal rise in Silver net speculative longs

Precious metals speculators slightly added to their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 23562 contracts in the data reported through April 14, 2026. This was a weekly rise of 145 net contracts but net longs stayed near two-year low.
