Commodities Buzz: India's Gold imports value jumps 30% in FY26, Silver imports soar 162%

India's Gold imports came in at Rs 28392 crore in value terms in March 2026, falling around 27% compared to March 2025. Silver imports jumped though, spiking 453% on year to Rs 5718 crore in the month. Gold imports value in FY26 rose by 30.58% on year to Rs 639523 crore while Silver imports during the same period jumped 162% to Rs 107394 crore. However, Gold imports slipped 58% on a monthly basis while Silver imports also fell 62% on month.
