Metals rally as US dollar tests five-week low, Silver zooms around 3%

COMEX Silver futures soared sharply today, rising in tune with Copper and supportive cues from Gold. The white metal currently trades at $77.87 per ounce, up 2.84% on the day. The US dollar index slipped to lowest level in five-weeks as equities surged on optimism that the US and Iran will restart peace talks. Metals moved up impressively across the board with COMEX Copper breaking above $6 per pound. It currently trades up 0.76% at $6.03 per pound. Gold is up 0.66% at $4797 per ounce. On MCX, Silver futures zoomed 2.54% at Rs 247003 per kg while Gold is up 0.54% at Rs 152896 per 10 grams. MCX Copper is also up 1% at Rs 1245.55 per kg.
