Copper up nearly 6% this week

COMEX copper hit three-week high today tracking positive cues from equities. Asian stock markets and European stock indices edged higher on Friday with investors hoping for some positive outcome from the upcoming US-Iran diplomatic talks scheduled to take place this weekend. The metal trades at $5.80 per pound, up 0.80% on the day. The counter has zoomed nearly 6% this week.
