World Gold Council or WGC stated in a latest update that global gold ETFs recorded record outflows of US$12 billion in March, halving Q1 inflows to US$12 billion and ending North America?s nine month inflow streak. Asian inflows remained resilient, delivering a record quarterly gain and helping to sustain the broader Q1 inflow trend. Despite the sell off, global holdings rose 62t over Q1 and gold market liquidity remained robust, with trading volumes elevated across key segments.
