Copper races near three-week high

COMEX Copper futures soared after two-week US- Iran ceasefire announcement. The metal jumped as US dollar index tanked more than 1% and equities rallied. COMEX Copper is up 3.11% at $5.73 per pound ? around three-week top. Meanwhile, Asian shares jumped across the board. China's Shanghai Composite index soared 2.69%. Hong Kong?s Hang Seng rallied 3%. Japan?s Nikkei average added 5.40%. European markets spiked around 3-4% as well. MCX Copper futures jumped following this and currently trade at Rs 1186.70 per kg, up 2.34% on the day after hitting highs around Rs 1190 per kg.
