MCX Evening Update: Crude under stress, Natural Gas tanks near Rs 268 per mmbtu

MCX Crude oil prices stayed under stress in evening trades. The counter has bottomed out around Rs 9000-9100 threshold and currently trades down 3.24% at Rs 9257 per barrel. Highs around Rs 9400 per barrel mark capped upside in afternoon trades. WTI Crude is down 2.50% at $98.76 per barrel, holding onto losses after falling under $100 per barrel as markets eye upcoming US weekly oil inventories data. MCX Natural Gas futures are currently trading at 271 per mmbtu, down 1.20% on the day. The counter fell near Rs 268 per mmbtu mark some time back.
