27-Mar-2026 | 14:29
WTI Crude oil futures raced higher as a break above $90 per barrel stayed in place. The US-Israel-Iran war is set to enter its fifth week and there is still ambiguity about the near-term direction the conflict will take. WTI Crude is currently trading at $96 per barrel, up 1.52% on the day. The counter had soared more than 4.50% in last session though it is still down around 2% for this week. Oil remains focussed on war-driven disruption around the Strait of Hormuz. While the White House said peace talks were continuing, Tehran rejected US proposals and put forward its own conditions. MCX Crude oil futures are trading at Rs 9145 per barrel, up 1.62% on the day after hitting a high of Rs 9165 per barrel.
