MCX Evening Update: WTI Crude lingers around $91 per barrel, MCX futures up around 3.5%

WTI Crude oil futures are lingering around $91 per barrel as media reports noted that Iran is open to negotiations with the US. Oil tanked 10% yesterday as US President Donald Trump announced a temporary pause on potential strikes targeting Iran?s energy infrastructure. Oil is still witnessing some buying and is up around 3.8% on the day. MCX Crude is up in a similar fashion and trades at Rs 8634 per barrel, adding 3.5% on the day. Lows around Rs 8400 per barrel have capped losses for the counter in intraday moves.
