Natural Gas tests two-week low as slide under $3 weighs

The Natural gas futures slumped today as a deep slide in crude oil prices pulled the counter lower. Market is also focussing on possibility of thin demand in the US owing to the weather patterns. The US Natural Gas futures broke under $3 per mmbtu mark today and currently trade down around 3% on the day at $2.94 per mmbtu. The counter is near two-week low now. WTI Crude oil futures also fell more than 4% in Asia before witnessing a modest recovery. MCX Natural Gas futures are trading at 273.50 per mmbtu, down 2.60% on the day after testing lows around Rs 271 per mmbtu mark.
