MCX Evening Update: Bullion futures tank, Gold nears Rs 155000 per 10 grams

Precious metals tanked today as a weak opening led to even more selling pressure. MCX Gold futures fell near Rs 155000 per 10 grams and currently trade at Rs 156406 per 10 grams, down 1.3% on the day. Silver endured heavy correction too. MCX Silver futures unsuccessfully attempted to hold around Rs 257000 per kg and fell sharply. It tested lows around Rs 247000 per kg and currently trades at Rs 254100 per kg, down 2% on the day.
