Commodities Buzz: Silver net speculative long positions rise further

Precious metals speculators slightly increased their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 24578 contracts in the data reported through March 10, 2026. This was a weekly rise of 1240 net contracts and pushed up net longs marginally from one-year low.
