Currency Buzz: INR recovers from record low as crude corrects heavily

The Indian rupee saw a good recovery today as Brent crude prices tumbled below $100 per barrel, sliding from three and half year highs. Overall mood was cautious about the escalating conflict in the Middle East but hopes that the war will get over quickly supported Indian equities. The local currency was trading at Rs 91.85 per dollar, up 35 paise per dollar and coming off a fresh record low.
