MCX Evening Update: Precious metals ease in intraday moves, Gold under Rs 160000 per 10 grams

MCX Gold futures are turning lower today, not being able to sustain after a positive start. The counter slipped under Rs 161000 per 10 grams and saw consistent losses, eventually falling in red. It currently trades at Rs 159900 per 10 grams, up 0.14% on the day. Similar story played out in Silver too as the metal topped out just under Rs 270000 per kg mark. It is currently trading at Rs 263254 per kg, up 0.41% on the day.
