Energy Preview: US crude inventories rise by 5.6 million barrels API data shows

The American Petroleum Institute (API) estimated that crude oil inventories in the United States rose by 5.6 million barrels in the week ending February 27, after adding 11.4 million barrels in the week prior. Gasoline inventories fell this week, shrinking by 3.3 million barrels in the week ending February 27. In the week prior, gasoline inventories fell by 1.53 million barrels.
