COMEX Copper futures consolidate around two-week high

COMEX Copper futures consolidated around two-week high with modest profit selling pulling the counter down. The counter currently trades at $6.03 per pound, down 0.23% on the day. In Asia, China's Shanghai Composite index closed flat after latest gains. Hong Kong?s Hang Seng index slipped 1.40% while Japan?s Nikkei average added 0.29% after hitting fresh record high. European stocks saw mixed moves. The US stocks edged up in last session. The Dow added 0.60% while Nasdaq jumped 1.3% and the S&P 500 rose 0.80%. MCX Copper futures are currently quoting at Rs 1206 per kg, down 0.44% on the day with lows around Rs 1200 per kg mark providing some downside support to the counter.
