Crude oil nears seven-month highs amid Iran tensions

Oil prices rose on Tuesday, hovering near seven-month highs as traders assessed potential supply disruptions linked to escalating geopolitical risks. Brent crude gained 0.6% to $71.94 a barrel, while U.S. crude climbed 0.6% to $66.72. Market attention is centered on the upcoming round of U.S.?Iran nuclear talks in Geneva, with uncertainty over Iran?s nuclear program keeping risk premiums elevated. At the same time, renewed U.S. tariff warnings have added to broader market volatility. On the domestic front, MCX March crude oil futures edged higher by 0.3% to Rs 6064 per barrel, tracking firm global cues as supply-side concerns continue to support prices.
