MCX Afternoon Update: Nickel spikes more than one percent

Base metals stayed largely supported today. MCX February 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1173.35 per kg, up 0.45% on the day after testing lows around Rs 1166 per kg today. MCX Aluminum futures edged up 0.26% to trade at Rs 308.05 per kg. MCX Zinc futures added 0.77% to trade at Rs 324.60 per kg. MCX Lead futures rose 0.05% on the day to trade at Rs 187.85 per kg. Nickel futures saw good good gains and soared 1.17% to trade at Rs 1574.90 per kg.
