Economic Buzz: China industrial production grows 5.2% in December

Industrial production in China was up by 5.2% in December 2025 on a yearly basis, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a report on Monday. Compared to November, the industrial output grew by 0.5%.

In the full-year 2025, Chinese industrial production expanded by 5.9% compared to 2024. Mining was up by 5.6%, manufacturing by 6.4%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat power, gas and water by 2.3%.

By product, the greatest growth was seen in the production of 3D printing devices, industrial robots and new energy vehicles, at 52.5%, 28% and 25.1%, respectively.
