Tokyo Plast International reports dismal Q3 performance

Tokyo Plast International reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 0.13 crore in Q3 FY26, compared with a net profit of Rs 0.08 crore recorded in Q3 FY25.

The company?s revenue from operations declined 10% to Rs 17.14 crore in Q3 FY26, down from Rs 19.05 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Pre-tax loss for the quarter stood at Rs 0.03 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to a profit before tax of Rs 0.10 crore in Q3 FY25.

Total expenses declined 9.39% YoY to Rs 17.18 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 18.96 crore in Q3 FY25. The cost of materials consumed was Rs 11.08 crore, up 0.36% YoY. Employee benefit expenses were up 8.65% at Rs 4.27 crore versus Rs 3.93 crore a year earlier.

Tokyo Plast International manufactures thermo food containers and coolers.

Shares of Tokyo Plast International shed 0.94% to Rs 105 on the BSE.
