MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals edge up, Copper swells around 2.50%

Base metals rose today, with Copper leading the charge amid firm global cues. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1313 per kg, up 2.50% on the day. The counter hit highs around Rs 1316 per kg. MCX Aluminum futures edged up 0.13% to trade at Rs 317.80 per kg. MCX Zinc futures added 1.12% to trade at Rs 312.50 per kg. MCX Lead futures rose 0.52% on the day to trade at Rs 193 per kg. Nickel gained 0.35% to trade at Rs 1708.60 per kg.
