Economic Buzz: Japan retail sales up 0.6% in November

Retail trade in Japan increased by 0.6% in November compared to the previous month, according to a preliminary report by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry published on Friday.

The figure increased by 1% on an annual basis. Commercial sales decreased by 1.2% month-on-month, while the seasonally adjusted value of sales in the wholesale industry fell by 1.4% compared to the previous month.
