Base Metals Preview: Copper stays under pressure

COMEX Copper futures slipped around two-week low amid firm US dollar after easing around three-month high last week. The red metal is currently quoting down 0.87% at $5.01 per pound. The US dollar index hit a fresh three-month high near 100 mark today and weighed heavily on copper. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 226 points, or 0.5% yesterday and US equities futures drifted lower today.
