Economic Buzz: Eurozone economic confidence gains impressively

Eurozone economic confidence moved up to the highest level in more than two years in October, survey data from the European Commission showed Thursday. The economic confidence index rose to 96.8 in October from 95.6 in the previous month. The industrial sentiment index hit -8.2 compared to -10.1 in the prior month. This was strongest since June 2023. The services confidence index hit a three-month high of 4.0 from 3.7 a month ago.
