Australia?s inflation accelerated to 3.5% in September from 3.0% in August, moving further above the RBA?s 2?3% target band. The rise was led by housing costs, with electricity charges soaring nearly 34% as earlier rebates faded. Transport inflation also picked up as fuel prices rebounded, while food inflation inched higher. Core inflation strengthened to 3.7%, marking its fastest pace in over a year.
